He holds a diploma (BSc) in Crop Science and Engineering, a MSc in Viticulture and Enology, and is a PhD candidate in Viticulture at the Laboratory of Viticulture. He is involved in the application of in vitro techniques for grapevine propagation under different conditions and hormone treatments, the quality evaluation of the grapes, physiology and biochemistry of the vine (dormancy, bud break etc.). He has participated in a number of national and european research projects during his 5-year research experience. He has published a number of scientific papers in international scientific journals and international conferences.
